We believe in quality! A quality service for both Candidate and Client. How do we qualify that? At the risk of sounding like a politician, to us it means caring about people and their individual needs, be it Candidate or Client.
the principals
Managing Director, Beryl Mclaren has been in recruitment for 28 years (and still learning). She ran a very successful IT Recruitment Consultancy for 17 years, specialising in the Industrial, Scientific and M.o.D. sectors, which she subsequently sold to an International Recruitment Company in 1992.
Company Secretary, Michael Rose has over 20 years City experience in Investment Banking, Investment Accounting, and Financial Regulations. In more recent years he has gained considerable experience in the accounting sections of Registered Charities and the Recruitment industry.
the consultants
Our consultants receive intensive individual training over a period of three months, regardless of their previous experience; even those with a background in recruitment. It doesn’t stop there either. Learning never stops, and we constantly exchange ideas and experiences and are always open to suggestions on how to improve the service.
state of the art technology
In our bid to offer the best service possible, we are constantly reviewing the status of current technology. We’ve recently changed our skills testing software to on-line skills testing. This enables us to test candidates in their own homes or, from an internet café, before registration; so we know, even before the registration interview, the level of skills. We have also added an additional service in the form of on-line training. This helps both candidates and clients. We can for example offer a candidate who is perfect for a given job but only has a certain skill to intermediate level (when the job specification demands advanced), on-line training. We can raise a skill from basic to advanced level within 3 to 5 evenings of 2 hour sessions. Likewise, we are able to offer this service to companies whose employees are either lacking in a software skill or skills, or have the skill but need to raise the level.
